I have been working at Bell Mobility full-time (more than 10 years)

Pros

With all of the restructuring and layoffs over the last 7 years the jobs that are left seem to be stable. Most people have been empowered to make decisions without having to go through a lot of red tape

Cons

Restructuring and layoffs still continue and probably will always have wonder when my time is up.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

The more cuts you make directly impacts the quality of service your able to provide & outsourcing to unqualified people is no substitute.

I have been working at Bell Mobility full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Excellent team atmosphere exists in almost all of Bell Mobility's kiosks. The managers are usually cool and team members always willing to help each other. If you work at a place with students or fellow students then it's just really good place to work.

There are advancement opportunities as well- some have gone to become assistant and then store level manegers as well and then beyond to corporate.

Good sales training too- one of the best actually.

    Cons

Employees don't get to sit. It sucks. I bet it's the number one complaint from any Bell employee. Also, the wages don't go up fast and and if you're in a relatively slow location, your commissions won't be that high either.

Also, regional nanagers tend to shove unnecessary sales garbage down your throat when they themselves can't sell.

I worked at Bell Mobility as an intern

    Pros

    Great work environment
Good people who are always willing to help
Flexible at most places. Reasonable hours and management. Great benefits.
One feels proud to be a part of Bell's team

    Cons

    Limited career possibilities. Tight deadlines. Less on the job training to people who are recent grads or doing internships;

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

A better way to provide training to recent grads and interns could really help the management
