I worked at Belvedere Trading full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The people are great. It's definitely competitive, but most people want to see you succeed.
The compensation is great and the office is very casual and fun.

    Cons

The industry can be pretty stressful, and things can get heated around bonus time. Not many exit opportunities unless you want to stay in trading long term.

Fun visible atmosphere, but also hidden stress

    I worked at Belvedere Trading

    Pros

Laid back atmosphere with people who are from all different backgrounds. You have the college athletes, the mathletes, and everyone in between. It's a very fast-paced environment, so the people are always loud and in your face, so be prepared to get worked... but also learn a lot.

    Cons

Just monotonous. It's a fun environment, sure, but the concepts and their proprietary models are tough to understand. You can ask questions, but only a few people can explain them to you anyway, and usually they are busy trading.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

While the work environment is very relaxed and probably every employee enjoys being a part of the team, there seems to be a strong feeling of fear within the employees in regard to top management.
