Pros

Ample time off. All major holidays and even some Catholic holidays like "Easter Monday." University absorbs all costs of health, dental, and vision. My position allows me to have a very flexible work schedule.

Cons

My only major con is that the university pays their employees well under market.

Advice to Management

I'd be willing to take less benefits for a more competitive salary.

    Pros

Wonderful coworkers, engaged students, safe campus.

    Cons

Grossly underpaid. Salaries not competitive or consistent with job responsibilities. Caseload of students is ridiculous - no way can an advisor keep up on all students. No real opportunity for advancement. Lacking strong leadership at the top.

    Advice to Management

Increase pay across the board, hire more staff, attempt to divide caseload of students more fairly.
