Pros

Benjamin Moore Paint is the best you can buy. Customers come because they get excellent customer service and a superior product. Benefits are OK.

Cons

Working at any retail operation has it's challenges. There is never enough people to help all the customers and their specific needs. BM has the ability to hire the employees they need to meet the incredible demand however, they choose to work as few people as possible and scold them for mistakes that are inevitable.

Advice to Management

Hire part-time employees during the busy seasons. Upgrade the POS systems. Reward the counter sales folks when their store exceeds the budget. Not just the Managers.

    Pros

Family friendly, good work life balance, although that seems to be changing. The cafeteria offers free lunch, Unfortunatley the lunch budget has been cut so drastically employees would rather pay for better food. Benjamin moore paint offer superior products

    Cons

There is simply no vision. Employees work against one another instead of together and no one is held accountable. The company is run by a good old boys club that offer no direction and are incapable of prioritizing. Employees need to realize that we "all" work for the customer and stop working against one another.

    Advice to Management

This could be a wonderful company if there was better leadership

    Pros

people were fairly nice - free lunch - everyone starts with 3 weeks vacation. Work is very easy.

    Cons

All decisions are made by senior levels. Everyone must be a "yes" man or you are out. there is no regard for skill, it's all based on who likes you. Very sad. Tons of racism and sexism.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your people. Don't take them for granted, Women can have something important to say - please listen
