    Pros

I met some awesome people while working here and I loved connecting with the students. It was very rewarding to see them graduate even if it was with a sub-par degree. Most employees of Berkeley College know it's a joke.

    Cons

Favoritism runs rampant throughout the college and management makes no attempts to hide it. They choose who they want to succeed and who they do not. They hire a lot of Berkeley graduates which is great for them. Nobody wants to call HR in fear of getting caught. Basically a call center, we are required to make a least 100 phone calls a day to leads/"prospective students" who the majority of the time hang up on us after they hear where we are calling from. Must convert phone calls into interviews. If a student wants a major we do not offer we have to persuade them to take up another major. We are given enrollment goals and that is what they base your raise on.

    Advice to Management

You really need to sit with all the staff and speak to each and every one of them. Listen to concerns because if 6 people say to you, "It seems like you need to speak Spanish to get ahead" I would listen or investigate. Invest in newer technology and fixing up the place. The lobby is dismal. Students want bigger, better. Don't tell us you care about the students and then say you only care about the bottom line. WHich is it?
