I worked at Best Buy Canada full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Great Benefits - Med/Dent and of course employee discounts
Enjoyable work environment - on-site cafeteria and gym facilities
    Many good people, great mix
    Company events

    Cons

Limited movement upwards - most Directors/VP's have been with company 12+ years with no intentions of moving, bit of an 'old boys club' at this level and up.
Being retail - constant promotions to prepare for, non-stop and tight deadlines

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Look at your senior leaders and the movement out of people that reported to them, is there a trend? Since many came from the old days of Future Shop they sometimes fall back on the old ways. Update and automate your inventory systems, should not be so labour intensive.
