I worked at Best Buy Canada part-time for more than a year

Pros

Games and goals to meet while we work to obtain prizes at the end of the day. Everyone was genuine because we were not on commission. Always around technology which is great to play with when we have down time. Awesome staff discounts.

Cons

Managers got laid off and replaced a lot. We dont get discount off every product in-store, such as apple, microsoft, and any laptop brands.

I worked at Best Buy Canada as a contractor for less than a year

    Pros

Most of the staff was nice and it was easy to get along with coworkers. The managers are all laid back and easy to approach. The job was easy if you put a little effort into learning about the products in your department.

    Cons

The only downside to working at Best Buy is only the supervisors and managers are allowed keys to the product cages. It becomes a problem when you can't find someone with a key and a customer's waiting for you to get an item for them.
