Pros

Good Place to work because the people thee are so nice and the mangers treat you like an equal. It also pays more then that average job.

Cons

Long hours is the cons of the job because I work about 60 hours a week so I dont have time to do a lot of personal things

Advice to ManagementAdvice

The hire more people so the work load is not delegated to the few who kave to put in so much time to earn a living.

I have been working at Best Buy

    Pros

Great company to work for. Very willing to move you to differant locations if your lifestyle needs to. As well as moving up in the company if you preform well.

    Cons

You will be very challenged with your management skills. You will also work alot of hours. But that is the beast of retail.

    Pros

    Employee Discount
    Knowledge about technology
    Team Building
    Stock Benefits
    Tuition Reimbursement
    Company Structure
    Training
    Ability to change departments

    Cons

    Too much downtime
    Unrewarding

    Boring
    Repetitive

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Do not assign busy work in the store. If there is nothing to do in the store, simple accept that there is nothing to do. When the Regional Manager comes in we will make sure we all look busy.

My biggest irritation in jobs like these is often managers attempt to make the jobs seem harder then they are. As long as employees are not being rude, disruptive, or inattentive and the store does not look unkept. It is okay to leave them alone.
