I worked at Best Buy full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

At a corperate level BB really seems to have its employees best interests in mind.

    Cons

On a store level all the managers are ever concerned about is today's numbers and shoving unwanted product down peoples throats.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get a clue on what customers really want. Most don't want to be asked for the 50th time whether they need help, or be badgered into buying extended warranties and geek squad services.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    No opinion of CEO

I worked at Best Buy part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

After a year, I had a decent amount to put on a resume

    Cons

Where to begin? Overworked, under payed, treated like a bottom feeder. Work/life balance? Guess again- especially if you're a student or looking to go back to school. Just, no. Don't do it.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't micro-manage. You reap what you sow

    Doesn't Recommend

    Disapproves of CEO
