I worked at Best Buy full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Greenville, NC Store #386 is based in a college town so it has a very young, active employee base with many of the employees hanging out outside of work. The store pushes a team motto and does a lot of extra curricular events outside of work, ie awareness walks and community events. Monthly all-store meetings started with hilarious videos and prizes for top sellers, ie gadgets or company stock.

    Cons

The employees and management has a high turn-over rate as managers shuffle to different stores trying to work their way up the ladder. It can make for an inconsistant work experience. Some managers will play with part-timer's hours to keep them just under full-time, ie 39 hours a week leading to inconsistent hours for part-timers, ie 15-18 hours one week, 39 the next week. Everyone fights for full-time positions.
