Benefit package, Relocation, Training, and Networking

Cons

Advancement is not always result based. Bonus structure changes yearly, and is usually not consistent with market outlook condition.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Provide consistent direction from C Level down to the store level. Most of the district level positions could be combined & cost savings applied to store or shareholders. Many of these jobs offer little benefit other than confusion by the time company initiatives are cascaded to the store level.

    Pros

    Non-management are generally awesome.
    Discount is above average.

    Cons

    Favoritism is rampant; Promotions are anything but merit based.
    Hours are flexible, but supervisors and management rarely respect requests off or availability.
    Work load is incredibly stressful in Geek Squad; Supervisors are encouraged to dodge work.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Stop promoting people from outside their respective departments to other departments.
    Higher morale will lead to higher sales; "Monopoly money" reward system is insulting.
    Geek Squad / Customer Service merger was the worse direction to take either department in.
    BBY.com search engine is famously bad. How can you compete with eBay/Amazon if people can't find anything on the site?
