Former Employee – worked at Best Buy part-time for more than a year

Pros – Great discount, decent wages compared to similar stores and positions, fun and friendly environment. Very team focused. You get noticed if you do well.

Cons – Huge emphasis on selling protection plans, credit cards, and membership (even as a cashier). Customer service policies usually never benefited the customer, so I didn't like my inability to help my customers.

Advice to Senior Management – You do a great job at keeping your employees motivated, and caring for your employees. Remember the customer service people and give them a shout out occasionally, sales people can't do what we do.
