    Flexible work environment
    Plenty of opportunity to move up and around
    Great work relationships
    Cross-functional and high-visibility projects are abound

    Cons

    Salary leaves a little to be desired
    Leadership has dropped the ball on the company's direction

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Move faster and listen to employees below the VP and Director levels. Most companies are started by a young entrepreneur with great ideas, and then are run by "experienced" management who kill the companies because they believe they have the right answers. Keep your finger on the pulse and CHANGE with the times!

    I worked at Best Buy part-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Great discount, decent wages compared to similar stores and positions, fun and friendly environment. Very team focused. You get noticed if you do well.

    Cons

    Huge emphasis on selling protection plans, credit cards, and membership (even as a cashier). Customer service policies usually never benefited the customer, so I didn't like my inability to help my customers.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    You do a great job at keeping your employees motivated, and caring for your employees. Remember the customer service people and give them a shout out occasionally, sales people can't do what we do.
