Good company to work for, but not paid as well as others for doing the same job.

Pros

No pressure to sell specific products or services, we do what is best for the customer.

Cons

Not paid as well as the companies who's products/services we sell.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Check your lower level management, they are unaware of anything going on in the business as a whole and therefore look ignorant. Also, the BBY store assistant managers do not treat the BBM managers as a "real" assistant manager of the store.

    Pros

Very flexible in scheduling, great employee discount. The culture is great if you are a positive person and want to get ahead.

    Cons

Training is sporadic, customers are sometimes mean. Being non-commision prevents stores from making alot of money and keeping good talet.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management should be more open to listening to workers complaints. They tend to dismiss singular complaints about the store. A person would need a large group of people to have the same complaint for things to be addressed.
