I worked at Best Buy full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Before it became the showroom for dot com, it was a great company to work for. There was opportunity for growth and advancement and the company had a strong culture where your opinions mattered.

    Cons

The company was very reactive to changing times. Every business decision was a reaction to current trends. They needed to be more proactive to stay in the retail game. Big box stores were too expensive to allow any room for price matching competition.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop basking in the glory of your past successes. Look to the future and stop living in denial.
