Pros

The environment, helping customers, being around technology, discounts, benefits.

Cons

Inconsistent hours, based off performance, managers care more about credit card applications, and Geek Squad then the actual customers, manager push you too hard to do something.

Advice to Management

If you want to have good employees congratulate them on a job well done, let them do what they need to do to make a sale. Don't make them become robots, and read questions off a paper so you don't get in trouble. Let the customers find the best solution for the customer. Not what makes the company the most money.

    Pros

Always something happening. Always something broken, and hence you will have something to fix!! Active 24x7x365

    Cons

Screwed if you are a contractor, especially if you are going through a 3rd party Asian firm. Watch how many hours you work, or, if you work more, then make sure you get paid for the same.

    Advice to Management

Listen, and learn. There is a reason why Amazon and other companies are growing while Best Buy is not.

    Pros

They offer a good discount to employees and the hours are set in stone--no worries about when you'll work. Good coworkers. Pay is steady, if small.

    Cons

They don't trust employees. It is silly not to allow you to leave without your jacket being searched for stolen goods. The pay has no commission attached. Lots of micromanaging.

    Advice to Management

Let us do our jobs without micromanaging so much.
