I worked at Best Buy part-time (less than an year)

Pros

The environment, helping customers, being around technology, discounts, benefits.

Cons

Inconsistent hours, based off performance, managers care more about credit card applications, and Geek Squad then the actual customers, manager push you too hard to do something.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

If you want to have good employees congratulate them on a job well done, let them do what they need to do to make a sale. Don't make them become robots, and read questions off a paper so you don't get in trouble. Let the customers find the best solution for the customer. Not what makes the company the most money.
