Former Employee - Geek Squad Business Professional in Countryside, IL

I worked at Best Buy full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Best Buy was a great place to work because of growth, the environment, and the potential to learn about new innovative technology. The pay was acceptable and the perks were even better.

    Cons

Too many situations where things change when they are working, and then we go right back to it. Web based training became boring and repetitive. And customer facing associates became robots with their sales pitches.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to the people and how to make Bets Buy work around them, everyone has low prices but not everyone has associates who know what their talking about, a GeekSquad that is reliable and staff who is willing to make the company profitable if we keep what works.
