Pros

Employee Discount about the coolest part of this position. Blue Polo?

Cons

Pay, Managers, Sales approach, weekend work. You will be scheduled every weekend and rarely get a Saturday or Sunday off. The pay is terrible for the type of value you are expected to contribute to the company. Management cares more about hitting sales goals than taking care of the customer. You are transformed into an insurance salesman because overpriced protection plans are the only thing keeping this dieing company afloat.

Doesn't Recommend
Negative Outlook
Approves of CEO

    Pros

They do have opportunities for improvement

    Cons

Best Buy is only worried about Best Buy there employees they care very little about now that their sales are going down do to the economy. They want you to oversell everyone but still advise them on the best options which is impossible.

    Pros

again the pay is pretty good especially the bonus potential.

    Cons

the stress level is ridiculous, the district managers verbally tell you to align with the company values, while at the same time they wink and nudge at you to through those values out the window and gain results at all cost, all whilst protecting themselves.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

get rid of the people who are used to the "old Best Buy" and their archaic ways of running the business. also Hubert Jolie is doing (what seems like a very) good job, but they nee to work on streamlining of the systems. but the biggest issue is the employee experience and the way you treat employees (especially the department managers, and sups) and respect and promote a work/life balance!
