I have been working at Best Buy full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

To be able to first hand interact with all of the various products and many solutions that we offer to our customers. The pay is extremely competitive and your rewarded for your performance.

    Cons

Best Buy makes it very difficult for you to have a balanced work/life schedule. Days off are extremely inconsistent, along with spur of the moment meetings, trainings, conference calls, etc. Also, there's a restructure that occurs almost every two years in which many jobs get eliminated.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Allow for 100% vacation payout and bonus for not using sick pay hours. Stop trying to chase a thousand metrics and get laser focused on two or three.

Best Buy is good when just getting out of high school, but do not expect a career from this company.
