    Pros

If you are a business major and want to learn about the inner working of a major fortune 500 company then Best Buy is for you. They are forthcoming and transparent on how they run their entity.

    Cons

It is a challenging environment as far as discrimination, inappropriate relationships and in certain locations women may find themselves not being valued.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Create an environment where women are comfortable and encouraged to grow professionally. Stop the social promotions.

I have been working at Best Buy part-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

If you are fortunate enough like me Ive had great immediate managers and supervisors the past years. My store is very close knit and those great people make the work day easier because we work together seamlessly (most of the time haha).

    Cons

This company keeps cutting the workforce and adding responsibilities to job titles without raising the wage. My title a "sales support" kept me from getting a $1000 bonus that my department worked hard for. You don't really matter to the company unless you are on the sales floor.
