I have been working at Best Buy full-time (more than 3 years)

Pros

The technology we sell is most up to date, Employee discount and benefits.

Cons

Leadership roles for women are too difficult to get, cash registers are ancient and difficult for full timers to reach 40 hours with the exception of holidays, when we are worked 17+ hours on Black Friday.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Recognize loyalty or you'll get the good ones leaving the company for pennies more an hour and a couple extra hours per week. Don't judge your employees so hard on their inability to sell or convince customers of services that they really don't have the money to buy.

I have been working at Best Buy full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Access and knowledge on the latest and greatest of technology and electronics

    Cons

Minimal to no training. Overworked, underpaid. Best employees work hard and at times get very little recognition.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Training is essential, not just taking a bunch of E-Learnings. One on ones. Employee Recognition at all levels of the company. Opportunities for advancement for quality employees who deserve it....not just because you "know" someone or are "besties" with them.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
