Pros

Some days you don't know what time you'll be off and be working anywhere between 11-13hrs a day. It can be stressful during the holidays.

Good luck if you need a job that badly that you'd work for this company.

I have been working at Best Buy full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Coworkers are usually the best part about this place, because they are in the same boat as you. Getting overused and underpaid with ZERO signs of appreciation from management or the company as a whole.

    Cons

Where to begin... The pay is unbelievably bad for a leader in the retail industry and Fortune 500 company. The reviews (assuming you even get one) are irrelevant as getting really high marks will only get you a .35 cent raise. Seems like every few years the company has a new operating model and reorganizes the structure of the company. All that does is eliminate positions making it harder for you to have an opportunity to move up. Managers make it extremely difficult for employees to enjoy coming to work by creating very stressful environments in which we are pressured to sell protection plans to customers. Even worse, they pressure the employees to try and get customers to sign up for the credit card which is garbage if anyone ever actually decided to read the fine print.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Fair compensation for the amount of work performed would be nice. This company has gotten worse and worse with each year. Management gets paid too much for the "effort" they put in and that leaves the hard working line level employees with nothing to show for it.
