Best Buy a fun place to work! Profit sharing, Full health care, Discount, Stock program, Vacation Time, and 401k

Bellevue, WA

Current Employee – been working at Best Buy

ProsFun environment to work. You get to meet new people and grow as a person as well as learn the retail world. If you work hard and "care" about Best Buy its an easy place to get promoted. Profit sharing called, "bluecrew bucks" is a good program to pay hourly employee's bonuses for the store doing well.

ConsManagement puts in 50 hour weeks, so that's not too pleasing for upper level management. Not all employees put in the same effort at work. Some just look at Best Buy as a pay check. They don't care about the customer or the company. Labor (hours) are always an issue after the holidays. Normal full time hourly employees only get 32-35 hours a week. Part-time employee's only need to be on the schedule 4 hours a week to stay employed.

Advice to Senior ManagementInvest in your key full time employee's. Don't loose they good people to other jobs. Work with the whole team on employee turnover. Have an employee of the month with special prizes.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
