Pros

There are a lot of perks with the discount from best buy. Hourly is ok depending on your level of schooling. Majority of the time willing to work with your schedule Really teaches you about the world of electronics Learn how to sell at a higher level. Flexibility to learn anything you want in the company.

Cons

Managers can be bias to personally growth of favored employees. Hours amount can suck.

Advice to Management

Keep doing what your doing. Listen to employee ideas more. Watch for bias behaviors.

    Pros

Work with some down to earth people, employee discount was great, learned a lot about the technologies sold at best buy, free AC, it's a great company and the paid training is great.

    Cons

For how much they expect from you, they will continue to ask for more. You get a horrible 45 min lunch with no breaks because they will give you crap for taking one. Even if you have some of the best sales, they will be on your butt about needing to sell more and "work on your low point areas" even though they are the highest in the district. The full time "leads" who aren't real managers, will act like they are the managers and tell you to do the things they are supposed to be doing but are too lazy to do it.

    Advice to Management

Better pay would help flush some of those tiny annoyances down the drain. Actually have the real managers manage the team, not the full time employee with no training as a manager lead the way. You are losing your smartest employees because of it, the smart ones will leave and all you have left are the ones who are too scared to leave.

    Pros

The discount is decent and there's usually food provided during big events and holidays.

    Cons

There are cliques and a great deal of favoritism at play. The management team has plenty of room for improvement. One of the female managers is down right rude and nasty towards others. Said manager feels it is ok to take her frustrations on others and to belittle those which she feels are beneath her. There is little chance to get a full time position or advance within the company.
