Pros

Corporate backing with an independent feel, repeat corporate guests weekly/ often, direct access to ownership, smaller staff leads to close knit group, strong management involvement. .

Cons

Owner independence can sometimes lead to sub par/ inconsistent standards at other properties, not much room as much ease of job movement laterally,

Advice to Management

Set the standard don't react to current industry trends.

  1. Suggest not to work here, especially as a housekeeper, unless it's your only option

    Pros

My answer would be 'none' but there is a minimum for how many words you have to write in this space.

    Cons

Low pay for physical labor, no benefits, no limit to how long they will say you have to work in one day, understaffed so you are overworked, give you quotas you can't meet, will try to cut corners on employee pay in every way possible

    Advice to Management

Consider whether you would work in the same position, and if you had to what would you change about it?

  2. Horrible place to work.

    Pros

Tips in some rooms but the ones who destroy the rooms the most don't tip.

    Cons

Management treats you like crap. Housekeepers were not allowed in lobby. You have to do a room in 30 min no matter how big it is and how big of a mess they make in room. Then they treat you horrible if the room is not perfect. I was there a year missed 2 days they wanted a doctors note for both days but you have to pay for insurance so the doctors note comes out of your pocket. As a housekeeper your paycheck is at most 400 every two weeks. They also keep hiring more housekeepers so you get less hours.

    Advice to Management

Treat your housekeepers with respect. Write better policies. Give them more time in each room as each room is different in time.
