I have been working at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Small, community hospital. People have worked here forever…..employs older workers (45+)

    Cons

Can be "clicky" since so many employees have been there forever. Benefits are subpar for a hospital. There are other non city hospitals that have better benefits. Pay is good, but benefits are costly, so any salary bump goes back into the benefit plan.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Spend some money at this community hospital. New equipment for testing would be beneficial. Also, more outpatient areas for testing would be a great asset. Money well spent especially with another new addition being put on, the old outpatient area definitely needs to be updated.
