I have been working at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center part-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Fairly busy emergency room. Everyone is very team oriented. Really enjoy working in this department.

    Cons

As with any ER job the hours are not always the best. Emergency rooms are open 24/7 365 days a year so chances are you are going to be stuck working some nights/weekends/holidays. This can put a strain on your family life. The pay is also not so great.
