    I worked at BevMo full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Daily work environment was fun and pleasant. The company encouraged us to expand our knowledge of wine and spirits, and provided tastings for employees and informational sessions so that we can help the customer choose the best wines.

    Cons

    The pay is fine for a part time, young employee, but the chance to grow was meek. No benefits, hard to get substantial raises.

    I worked at BevMo part-time for less than a year

    Pros

    The had contest all the time. And I won each one for that store including best customer service.

    Cons

    I won the best customer service and the check I received for it I was told was my last pay check and was let go. The manager was always changing the schedual with out notice or letting anyone know about it. Then you would get a call asking why your not at work. I replied because I wasn't on the schedual. Luckly I always made copies before I went home as proof. In three months I was never late and always did more when asked. And yet I was the first to be let go. I did more work at times and had better customer service skills there was proof of that too.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    The manager needs some skills on how to make a schedual and employees need to give two weeks notice for a day off.
