Look twice before making the switch

Senior ColdFusion Developer (Former Employee)
Silver Spring, MD

I worked at Bid4Assets.com

ProsVery small. IT shop is 2 people. Was 6 with recently hired/laid off employees. Work environment was good. Location is close to Metro Station.

ConsThe company is unstable. Laid off several people including 3 recently hired (3 weeks or less). One person started Monday and was let go Friday.

Advice to Senior ManagementDon't hire people and lay them off within a week. Don't expect employees to stay at 50 percent wages without compensation in the long term.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend

Pros: The people are nice. The office is in a great… Cons: The company is falling apart. I was hired in their IT department and two weeks later the company laid off all of its technology workers,… Advice to Senior Management: Don't try growing your company by over 30% by hiring a bunch of people if you don't have the money. And… No, I would not recommend this company to a friend More
