I have been working at Big 5 full-time (more than 10 years)

Pros

Alright Pay, vacation, 401k, believes in hiring from within, benefits, sick and personal time off

Cons

work 42.5 hours a week in the winter close to 60. Raises have been missed the past 3 years. You pay a lot for insurance. The company does not care about it's employees.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be fair to all employees not just the ones in California. California employees get far better benefit packages that they are not allowed to disclose with employees from other states.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't hire so many workers so you can get more of a unified sales team.
