I have been working at BigMachines full-time

    Pros

You will learn more doing direct hands on work here faster than you would with any masters program or other company. The company is growing so fast if you stick around for 1+ years, you will get exposure to the fell of companies of different sizes as they are growing so fast. This can help in discovering at what company sizes you are most comfortable. The people you will work are bar none the most intelligent people you will get exposure to in a workplace, except maybe NASA.

    Cons

You will work, hard. Its a job though, what else did you expect. Expect the company to grow, evolve, and change. They are maturing rapidly and as that happens strategies and focus can flux.
