Former Employee – worked at Bimbo Bakeries full-time for more than a year

Pros – Company has appreciation events and offers discounts at Thrift Store locations for employees.

Cons – Executive leadership at the south Fort Worth location leads by intimidation. This makes it very difficult to manage a team under that heierarchy. Job satisfaction and morale are constant struggles under this regime. Additonally, mgmt level team regularly literally cry on each other's shoulders regarding the working conditions. Exec leadership jokes about the horrible reputation and the staff fearing him/her. The staff level teams cringe when they hear this person's footsteps in the hallway....something like the selection of a martyr as he/she walks down the hallway...the staff literally holding their breath to see which office will get a visit. Pitiful for adult behavior.

Advice to Senior Management – Respect your team...offer them the same respect and dignity you would appreciate. For the CEO...be mindful of this situation...it has been ignored for many years.
