Pros

It's a job. This is just about the only pro, which, these days, is enough for some people. Desk job that's sometimes intellectually challenging, when not frustrating.

Cons

Basically they pressure you to stress too much about your work, for too little pay. Management have little respect for their employees - consequentially, employees are always looking for jobs, and find them soon enough. They were dropping like flies when I was there, and I was proud to drop with them to a job where I was more respected. Most of non-management are pretty cool, but they're not nice because they're enjoying themselves or proud to be there. They're nice because they don't want management to get on their case, and think "Well this sucks but let's make the best of it and be kind to each other."

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Show a little more respect towards your employees. Even something little like asking when they would prefer lunch would actually show that you're being considerate, even if you can't give them that time, just asking the question and seeing what you can do shows that you respect your employees.

Just do you work and don't talk to your co-workers

    Pros

Depends on how you look at overtime. Company rarely allows it and prefers their employees to work an 8 hr shift.

    Cons

Binder and Binder doesn't even provide the bare minimum. Forget coffee, water and even napkins. You're on your own. High turn-over. Talking strictly prohibited, especially if you don't work at the same department. No internet access, unless you're special. As far as education, if you have no law background, expect to get paid less.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Provide water to your employees and potential clients.

    Pros

If you're doing great work then you will be acknowledged by your managers.

    Cons

Employees are very discouraged to work; there is little connection between lawyers and the rest of the staff

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Have better salaries and benefits to encourage employees to work if you're not going to offer job perks.
