Cons

Advice to ManagementAdvice

If you want to have a more talented staff, entrance employment testing, drug testing, and a more thorough interview process should be implemented upfront. Some people get hired that are simply not a good fit and it leads to management frustrations, wasted recruiting and training expenses, higher turnover, and lower employee morale overall.

It was a temporary situation - I was referred to it by an ex boss who left before I was there one year.

    Pros

They provide good support and training

    Cons

    There was too much turnover

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I believe there is not enough concern for the individual but there was concern for the almighty dollar at this company. I requested plants for the office for health reasons and was surprised they were not provided.

Bisk is a transitional place, and therefore has no room to grow because they are always playing catch-up.

    I worked at Bisk Education

    Pros

The employee's not in management. Most are friendly, and eager to help when they can. They provide coffee and a fridge.

    Cons

Dark, dingy work area. Communication is poor. They do not encourage team work, they keep departments "at war" with each other which is not conducive to helping a company grow. Management does not appear to have any training and keeps more of a "high-school gossip" atmosphere. They ask for the best in their field however do not allow for people to demonstrate their skills.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

TEAM WORK & COMMUNICATION. Do not hide behind doors and expect team members to do a blind chase. Stop the gossip.
