Former Employee – worked at Black & Veatch full-time for more than 3 years

Pros – Not much to say here. Decent medical plans.

Cons – HORRIBLE Company to work for. Horrible pay. Promotions will come if you know “people”, otherwise you are stuck with the same job for life. Conservative and old culture. Company is run by “good old boys” network. Personal and professional developments are nonexistent. If you are women, or minority I feel sorry for you. RUN RUN RUN!! The management is full of themselves. They are artificially jacking up the stock price so that they can retire with ton of money. The stock evaluation is wrecked. The average age of employees is 58. This should tell you they are counting their days till retirement. Do not get a job there. Employee morale is all time low.

Advice to Senior Management – Hopeless....

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
