Pros

Used to be market leader in smart phone. Although it is sinking, the Blackberry brand remains respectful.

Cons

There are 2 CEOs and they do not manage the company effectively.

Advice to Management

If you have made the wealth over the years, please step aside and retire. We need some seasoned, and well-respected crop of senior management team to undo all the wrong.

    Pros

Easy to have work life balance.

    Cons

Exec management is clueless about the Valley. As a result, it's hard to get things done.

    Advice to Management

Fire your entire legal team. They have no interest in the good of the company or in getting things done. They simply want to make sure you don't get sued.

    Pros

Company made sure employees kept learning new things Work is exciting

    Cons

Information sharing between groups could be better Senior Management does not value input from lower level employees Senior management made fun of competitors products despite problems with their own

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees. Stop touting security as the reason RIM will stay ahead of its computers as that has proved to be untrue. Focus on the horizontals and not the verticals. Remove MikeL and JimB from the boardand co-CEO positions
