“A great place to work if you make yourself approachable”
I have been working at BlackBerry
Pros – very lax environment which is brought from the canadian culture, if you do your work, you'll be acknowledged and given great opportunities
Cons – at times there could be a disconnect between departments, but its not something that you wouldn't see in other large conglomerates
Advice to Senior Management – i've gotten a 'sneak peek' of the world inside the leadership roles, and boy is it a busy schedule. having said that, there are opportunities that a leader can get a 'refresher' on what the trenches/front-line do on a day-to-day basis, seize the opportunities to better yourself and those you lead
