I have been working at BlackRock

Pros – Offers great benefits
Constantly busy
A bit friendlier environment

Cons – Support staff very low
Top heavy
Employee slackness is encouraged by management and nothing is said when an employee is constantly on personal calls, calls out sick or when 2 hour lunch breaks are taken.
Work is constanly pawned off due to lack of support staff
No recognition to hard workers

Advice to Senior Management – Take the time out to really pay attention to your employees actions. A lot lack work ethic, micro manage to the extreme and pushes their work on others only to take credit. This is a depressing environment for anyone to work in.
