“Reasonably good company to work for”
Former Employee – worked at Blackhawk Network full-time for less than a year
Pros – Fairly small company, some opportunity to advance with extra effort
Decent benefits
Average salary
Below top management, the people are tremendous
Cons – Pretty political
Management is not very decisive
Strategic planning could be much better
Mid-level managers and below are under-appreciated
Advice to Senior Management – This is for top management:
Find expertise in current and emerging technologies - you don't have it now.
Look to your assets in mid-level management and below to foster innovation.
Asses your R&D spending to maximize the results.
