    Pros

One of the sector leaders. Good existing relationships with business partners.

    Cons

Inexperience middle management, including even some members in the upper management.
Political. Too much undercutting, back stabbing and finger pointing.
Very little collaboration. It's mostly about personal gain and building personal empires.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Look at your leaders in all departments, specially those big ones, to see what's really going on underneath the carpet.

Think at least 5 times before you take the job at BHN!

    Pros

Relatively stable company because of the fact it's backed by Safeway. Business has been doing OK.

    Cons

It's hard to start listing all the cons about BHN because there are so many. It is an extremely political environment so unless you're fond of spending most of your time dealing with people with personal agenda this is not a job for you. There are so many people there fighting for a better position for themselves and they would do anything they could to get it. This kind of behavior not only happens among worker bees but also senior management.

At BHN, it's normal to see people stepping on each other, treating worker bees (specially contractors) with no respect. And if you're an IT professional, you will most likely end up in the worst environment in the whole company. However, if you're a master at talking about big topics in meetings to make people believe you really understand what you're talking about and you never really quite deliver or even follow up, BHN is definitely a place for you to thrive.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Start looking at how much you spend vs. how much you actually get from these people and who's really doing the work vs. who's just talking!
