Pros

In short, the people. You will work with some of the most amazing people ever. You get taken care of and all the special parties are pretty nice too.

Cons

If you are in the CS side of things, you are pretty much stuck there. To get out to another branch of the company could take a miracle. And getting promoted gets a bit tricky, because those that are in the positions of power that you want tend not to leave.

Advice to Management

Keep rocking. You have some the best people, take care of them like you always do.

While not the ideal position for my tastes, the company itself was one of the best I'd worked for.

    Pros

Very relaxed, yet energetic, professional culture.

    Cons

Not all teams are created equal. Some expectations seem, at times, unrealistic.

    Advice to Management

Find a way to manage your teams, and stick it out for more than 3-4 months at a time. Changing up career progression scales, and requirements

    Pros

    - You work in the game industry...an industry like no other.
    - Free Blizzard games? O.o

    Cons

    - Ridiculously political! Have you ever seen "Office Space"? It's like that, but perhaps worse.
    - Contractors are treated like peeons and nothing else. Being brought into full time is nearly impossible.
    - Mixed messages. Back to the "Office Space" comment...Consistent management changes, having to stop projects regardless of previous approvals or plans.
    - Promotional track is nearly non-existent.

    Advice to Management

Treat the Customer Support group like a video game support group and not a call center. The gaming industry is incredibly different from other industries, and should be viewed as such. The company has a great track record and shows so much promise. Make it work!
