Blockbuster – “Review of Blockbuster”

Pros

Free rentals are definitely a plus working at Blockbuster including flexible scheduling. It is also a great place to meet new people whether its coworkers are customers. There are people from all different backgrounds coming to a place for entertainment.

Cons

Working every Friday and Saturday night does takes its toll and once a while you have to do one graveyard shift for inventory purposes.

Advice to Senior Management

The ability for a Store Manager to give out raises or promote from within would be great. The once a year review is too far apart. It would of been okay if the raises were a bit higher than 35 cents a year for hourly employees.
