    I worked at Bloomberg BNA

    Pros

Management, editors and reporters work well as a team. Demanding work ethic leads to excellent news products that are highly valued in the industry. Pays relatively well and has good benefits. Friendly atmosphere.

    Cons

Still working through some of the kinks of Bloomberg's buyout. Not the most dynamic company - takes a while to adopt to changes. Newsletters can be territorial and instead of sending one reporter to cover a conference for multiple newsletters, each newsletter will send their own person.

I worked at Bloomberg BNA full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

    Flexible work environment, good pantry

    Cons

Red tape management, no reward for good work in IT. I agree with some reviews, the IT department managers steals people 's ideas and there is no appreciation or reward for a good work. Company didn't increase pay in last 6 years. Contractors are paid less without any appreciation. They fired a lot of folks in the company and hired interns to lower the cost. Technology is outdated and innovators are punished for bringing in new ideas. Favoritism is a key to success.
