I have been working at Bloomberg L.P. full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

The benefits are incredible. The top guys are really admirable and the culture they push is incredible. The hours are good and they are flexible as long as you are considered a "Good" performer.

    Cons

Managers that are problematic are not always dealt with properly. They'll often be enrolled in useless "how to be a good boss" class, instead of replaced.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Managers should try to find some way to make sure that those under them are not mismanaging their expectations by selling the idea of products to them like they were clients, not their long term bosses. .
