I worked at Bloomingdale's

Pros

commission (depending on area can be very good)
the discount

Cons

the century city store has too much politics going on. there is absolutely no growth into management without a 4 year degree. The manager I had gave no positive feedback. there is always an excuse on why someone can't move departments. I hate the dress code

Advice to ManagementAdvice

yes the customer is important but you have to remember your employee is what gets the customer to become and client with repeat visits
