    Cons

-Too much micromangement -Mistakes that you make small or big will be blown up and help against you -No direction for current and new employees -Technical Objectives changes on a daily basis -Employees talk negitively about each other freely -No motivation from Team Lead or Managers -Unfriendly and unhelpful co-workers will make it hard to learn the environment and or policies -You may only work from home after 1 year working with the company (IT Division only) -IT department has very little diversity -Very old infrastructure such as Novell envionment slows down the progession of technology

    Advice to Management

    Negative Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

    They pay really. really well.

    Cons

Everyone runs around in constant fear for their job. You try hard at BCBSA not because you want to get ahead, but because you don't want to mess up. If you've ever wanted to know why healthcare costs so much in this country, spend about a week working for these folks.

    Advice to Management

Stop trying to play both sides of the fence when it's obvious which side you're on.
