Pros

Blue Cross has tons of incentives for their employees to do their best. We have the opportunity of getting free healthcare, they care about our weight loss goals, and this is a place where you can build a career and not just job.

Cons

There is an issue of communication within certain departments and if there is an issue it's sometimes hard to get an issue resolved even when using the proper channels.

Advice to Management

Listen to your employees and learn to take focused feedback (constructive criticism).

    Pros

    The benefits program is resonable

    Cons

lack of promotional opportunities, nepotism, unfairness, laziness and incomeptence from managers who are out of touch with reality and would rather play angry birds on their iphones! i found the senior leadership team to be one of the worst in the industry, passion for your career gets you nowhere, you have to be in a clique to succeed!

    Advice to Management

Stop playing with your iphones during work hours, listen to your empoyees and treat people with fairness and dignity

    Pros

Good job, upper management tries to show employees appreciation. Depends on immediate supervisors/managers and job location. Overall a good company to work for.

    Cons

immediate supervisors not great, CYA atmosphere. Supervisors need to actually know how to perform duties of people they supervise. No advancement opportunites unless working at main campus in BR.

    Advice to Management

Have supervisors/managers who actually can do they direct reports job. Also, make sure satellite offices aren't just making up their own rules and doing things they way they want rather than the way BR expects it to be done.
