Pros

Close to my house so easy commute

Cons

To many projects with conflicting goals.
To much change with no way to track benefits.

Advice to Management

Look very closely at your structure and who is doing what. I was very disappointed in the amount of change, that never created much benefit other than confuse everyone. Change is good as long as you have a top level goal that is not a moving target.

    Pros

The company is moving in a different direction with a new CEO coming in Jan 2013. Top executives are “retiring” or have left the company so there is a chance for the company to operate like a company in this century.
Working on “employee engagement” to rebuild trust with employees.

    Cons

Can’t trust management. Human Resource Department are like bullies! The first time I worked at a company where a non-income producing department is calling all of the shots.
Low paying jobs and there are employees in management roles that don’t have the skill set to manage.

    Advice to Management

If you do not change the way VPs and managers treat employees making a change than you will lose more good employees.
