    Pros

Well, they do pay you. And they have enough money in the bank that they are unlikely to go broke and lay everyone off anytime soon.

    Cons

Incompetence runs rampant. The only competent people I worked with were the ones so far down the ladder that they could impact nothing. The higher up the ladder you go the more incompetent they get. Projects have ridiculous deadlines. There appears to be no ability to learn from past mistakes. At the executive level they run their mouths about the morale problems (they hired an outside firm to find out why everyone was so unhappy...when they could have just read the comments on their own intranet), yet from their actions they appear to be doing everything they can to make you miserable and unproductive.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees. Think before you act. Do not punish honesty. Think. Seriously, just think about things. Remember that you are up in a gold tower surrounded by yes men and women; seek out the advice of employees, not just those other executives. The people who do the actual work are constantly hampered by staggeringly poor decisions made by people who have no idea what it's actually like to work there. Some of the decisions I saw were so clearly imbecilic that it was clear the executive level was either staffed by morons or folks who just didn't care about the employees (although actually I think they just didn't have a clue how the work got done or how they were perceived)
