I worked at Bluegreen Vacations full-time for more than 5 years

Pros

The benefits are good. You are able to visit any of their resorts at a reduced rate. The compensation is fair and competitive.

Cons

Some of the senior leaders (VP and above) really are not supportive of employees. There are cliques and the only employees that advance are friends with these senior leaders.

    Pros

Awesome Co Workers both at the Booth and Bass Pro Shop workers
    Bass Pro Discounts
Pretty easy job explaining the vacation package
    6 Hr shifts

    Cons

The company says "No means No" if the customer doesnt want to buy.........yet they write you up five weeks after you start.....of which two is pure training if you dont sell 5 a week which at my location was virtually impossible because of excessive staffing and VERY SLOW days. They do not care about about anything other then sales, if a customer says "no no no" you are talked to for a while wondering what went wrong and what YOU could have done differently. Some people are good at this but my location had so much turn over I was lucky enough to get out before I was let go before I was fired because of not meeting the QUOTA which is not mentioned in the interview unless you bring it up. JUST DONT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop always thinking about money and take a few minutes to look at your employees who are working hard to sell this package and are doing things right but are getting written up because people say "no no no" and MANAGEMENT says "no means no!!"
